This 1970's ranch style home was remodeled to accommodate a growing family  New oversized sliding doors frame the ocean view beyond.  A modern, functional kitchen included custom concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances.  The family room fireplace was simply executed in custom concrete to create a clean look.  Pivot doors made of environmentally harvested mahogany form a counterpoint to the rift cut walnut cabinetry throughout.  Steel columns were left exposed to include the structure as an integral design element.
